Record-breaking sailor Ellen MacArthur travels to the remote island of South Georgia in the Southern Ocean to explore the plight of the wandering albatross. This magnificent bird is being driven to the edge of extinction by commercial fishing in its feeding grounds. Ellen spends two weeks camping on Albatross Island taking part in a survey of bird numbers and forms and extraordinary bond with a young albatross chick.
